If you were at a park with your kids, and a man helped your kid up after falling, would you be ok with it? (Read description before posting)

My partner has two daughters and is a really good dad. He’ll take them to the park and run around chasing them. Last night he told me that he can’t help kids at the park because people find it weird. He said one time he was standing talking to a woman, and someone else’s kid was stuck and needing help, and both him and the woman kind of just watched until she said “I’ll help him” because they both sort of knew my partner couldn’t help him because it’d look bad/weird. I’m shocked. Would you be ok with a male helping your kid on the play ground?
