IUD Virgin (Paragard)

Hey lovely peeps! I am researching and focusing in on the best birth control for me. I have never been on birth control in my whole life (I’m 21) and I have decided to have the copper wire Paragard IUD inserted. I am all for it since it doesn’t disperse hormones but I have become soooo nervous. Watching videos, hearing stories, etc. makes me a little wary. Is there anything I should be aware of? Besides major cramping and bleeding? And what/how should I prepare myself for the process of insertion? And if you have anything else to say/advice, please let me know!
