Jodee

I see so many ladies get discouraged. let me share my story.

I was diagnosed with pcos at 16.

I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism at 18.

Diabetes at 28.

enlarged heart chamber at 37.

uterine cancer 4 days ago(37).

I'm 37 years old, no kids. been ttc for almost 12 years now. the past 6 months I have been working with a new RE. She has been amazing. she has been doing tests that no other dr has ever done. she did a ultrasound on me, found some polyps. I went in for surgery last month on the 11th. went to my post OP appointment and my pathology report was not back yet. waited and waited. finally I got a email from my drs site saying new lab results. My heart sank when i read it was cancer. I have been repeating it to myself... I have a monster inside me.. I just cant believe it. after all I have been through this past almost 12 years trying to have a baby. this monster is going to end it all. My RE knows my journey, my struggles. she referred me to a gyno oncologist. but what's more is, she had a meeting with him. when I thought that my baby journey would be over, she called me! They will work closely together with me to try one last time! because of the cancer and the pcos, my period never comes. progesterone at normal doses never makes my lining shed. so I'm on 80mg of progesterone daily for 3 months. if it makes my lining shed, my RE will try aggressively, as she put it, to get me pregnant. if the cancer starts to grow, or my lining doesnt shed. it's off to a hysterectomy I go. one thing I have learned is everything happens for a reason. ladies if I can go through all of this and still keep positive. you can to. please everyone pray for my body to start working. this really is my last shot at a family. baby dust to all. when you are feeling down, remember... it could always be worse.
