Divorce & Custody: What would you do?

My soon to be ex-husband is on parole. One condition of parole is not drinking/drugs. I suffered from al types of abuse when we were together, so I record all phone calls. In the last phone call he disclosed that he “drank some wine, but did not finish the glass” recently. I did not prompt for this information - he offered it freely. Should I see if it would be relevant to our case? Or just leave it alone. I don’t want to look like I’m just out to get him ...but then again, i want my children to be safe which is why I am fighting for supervised visitation. But I’m not really sure how it would look in court. Any advice?
