Target gift card promotion?

So I saw that Target is doing a promotion where you buy 2 boxes of diapers and get a $10 store gift card. Has anyone done this in store? And how does it work? Do you have to mention the promotion and they give you a gift card? Do you need some kind of code?

I work at target. If it says buy 2,3,4 etc it will automatically have the cashier scan a gift card at the end of the transaction for all the promo deals set up that way as long as you buy the sizes included in the sale. They should all be ticketed on the shelf with the promo too. If it says spend x amount get 10 off text blah blah to get the coupon then you need the coupon. The cashiers have copies they can scan one per household if you ask them.

Unless they state that you need a special coupon the register will automatically prompt for the promotional gift card granted you’ve got the correct products for the promotion. With diapers and getting a gift card you won’t have to do anything except buy enough diapers and make sure the cashier hands you your gift card

I used to work as a cashier at target. You may need the target app for the cartwheel promo, but usually not. When they scan the 2 boxes, it should prompt them to give you the gift card.
