Early miscarriage?

I'm 7 weeks today according to my last period (I might be earlier) had some light brown spotting and cramping since 7 am today. not red or pink at all.... went to the doctors and did a vaginal ultrasound and they couldn't really see anything they THINK they saw a sac but wasn't sure if it was, let alone if it was if it's a early miscarriage.... getting blood work now to check HCG levels for the first time. Told them to do it before so i knew since I had a miscarriage in june but they told me they dont usually check that. 😒 feeling a little discouraged....anyone else go through this?
