Why do people do this?!

How come people (women) always ask other women in their late 20's when they are gonna have children, and look weird at you when you say you don't know? Ugh it's seriously annoying.. like mind your own damn bussiness. Im a 29y old single woman with no children, there is nothing wrong with that!!

Right. You don’t ask the 29 year old woman with 3 kids to explain herself. Why is that? 🙄

Happily childless at 28, I have zero patience for this question. I’ve taken to responding to the question of “Why don’t you have kids?” with “Why do you?”. ☺️

I'm pregnant with number three and I wonder why people always ask me when I'm going to marry my boyfriend? Why do we have to get married and is there something that happens if you dont marry the man who you have children with?

Because unfortunately, patriarchal societies  expect us women to have all the babies we possibly can. 🙄

I feel like when another woman asks a woman in her late 20s why she doesn't have kids it's because shes worried. It's a scientific fact that woman over 30 have a great chance of having a miscarriage, birth defects, gestational diabetes, and other things that can make the pregnancy high risk and the chances increases the older the woman gets. Its not that we are nosey, we are concerned because having a healthy pregnany/child is hard enough but a high risk one/disabled child will be so much harder. 
If you dont want kids, that's totally fine, not everyone is meant for motherhood. I even question myself at times. But if you do want kids and you're getting older, it's not going to be easy. My mom had my little sister at 42 and 2 weeks after labor, had to go back to the hospital because of post partum bleeding. I almost lost my mom at the age of 5. Had she not gone when she gone, she would've been dead. She also had me at 37 and got gestational diabetes which made it harder for her towards the end.

Why do people do this?!
