Boyfriend told me he loved me

This summer has quite possible been the best with my boyfriend.

I’m his first everything. Girlfriend, kiss, took his virginity, his first date. Everything.

Im moving 3 and a half/4 hours away from home to go to college a we’re trying long distance.

Last night was my last night and we were in the hot tub relaxing together .

He kept telling me how much he was gonna miss me over and over and hugging me.

He looked me in my eyes and told me: “i love you” and I’ve never felt happier than I have in that moment.

My own father doesn’t say “I love you” to me.

But my boyfriend kept saying it again, and again, and again.

I of course said it back bc I already knew I loved him. I’m just one of those people who has a lot of love for life and people.

He’s the first man I’ve ever truly loved.

But sadly long distance is going to be hard. Any advice on how to make it work and be patient?

He is training to be a pilot so his schooling is hard and I have to understand he has to fly a lot to get his license.
