Oaklyn Jean if we have a girl?

So my husband and I wanted a different name, but nothing super unique. I’m a teacher so finding names that I don’t associate with awful children has been challenging. 😂

We keep coming back to Oaklyn for a girl (we don’t know what we are having yet.) We are both outdoorsy, so we feel like it’s a nod to nature in a way, too.

Jean for the middle name is after the man that my husband looked up to growing up. He took him in under his wing in his teens and young adult life. He passed away a couple years ago. So we will be doing the middle name Jean/Gene for either gender....this is definitely going to stay.

Is Oaklyn TOO out there?! I like Charlotte (Lottie) too but husband isn’t fond of it.

If you have any other options send them my way. ☺️ I have this overwhelming feeling it’s gonna be a girl so I’ve been spending a lot of time thinking.
