Seven year switch

So I just started watching this show on lifetime and I thought it was kinda controversial. So basically, these three married couples are having trouble in their marriage so with the help of two psychologists they’re switching spouses for two weeks to see if it helps their marriage.

I honestly have no idea how it’s supposed to help but it’s interesting! Would you ever consider doing something like this? Do you think it could potentially help marital problems?
