Struggling learn Spanish. Please help 🙏🏼

So I am a one of those Latino kids that don’t know how to speak Spanish. First let me tell y’all as a toddler, I didn’t really talk until probably 3 or 4. When I did try, I would talk very little sentences like “me... juice.” (Me asking for juice as kid, lol.) So I struggled talking as kid. In kindergarten, I was put in speech therapy and my parents decided that my primary language should be English since my education is all gonna be in English and I would have to communicate with others in English anyways. Both my parents are Mexican but my mom was born in California and Spanish is her second language. Her Spanish is pretty good. In my opinion, her accent and pronunciation is excellent. My mom learned Spanish while living with my great grandmother. She learned by just listening to my great grandmother in Spanish when she’s talking to her in English, watching telenovelas with her, listening to the music and even going to school in Ensenada. She went because my great grandmother didn’t want her to go to this school that is supposedly bad because gangs, drugs, alcohol, etc. She started speaking fully at 17, i think. I’m 18 and i still can’t speak Spanish. Sometimes, I respond here and there, I can tell time sometimes, I can try to read in Spanish, and I can understand a tiny bit of Spanish. The fact that I’m not bilingual is my biggest insecurities.. i get so impatient learning the language. I wanna learn fast and be able to talk to my grandparents, and other family members. So please any tips would be lovely ❤️
