sick 8 month old

my lo has had a fever of 102F° for the past 2 days. the lowest it has dropped down to was 100.5F° but now it's at 103.1F°. He's eating with no problem. he sounds congested but no runny nose and has a hard time trying to sleep. we've giving baby Motrin but it hasn't worked. any suggestions on something I can do to help him? UPDATE: Went to the doctor today and he's fever was completely gone. like it was never there. she thought i was lying or my thermometer was broken. but he was super hot. well thank god he's fine now. thanks moms for the advice!!
