Anybody else not announcing???

I love seeing all the cute and creative pregnancy announcements! We are expecting baby number 3 and have decided to not do a formal announcement via social media. We’re pretty private and don’t post much anyway. We’ve told our families and anyone else who sees us in everyday life. There are close friends who live far away that we will tell over the phone when the time comes, but everyone else will find out sometime after baby is here. Anyone else foregoing the big announcement?? If so, what are your reasons?

This is our second and we won’t post on social media. We also did not post any news of our pregnancy, photos, or pictures of our baby with our first.  
We aren’t big social media posters anyways and I felt protective of our privacy. I wasn’t crazy about someone being able to identify our child without ever having met him in person. 
Some people thought “well you can just update your privacy settings” and I understand that. At the same time, I can’t control other peoples privacy settings (I.e. friends, family members) who think it’s okay to share pictures of your child on their accounts. 
We made it known that our child or news of our child doesn’t go on the internet. 
I realize I sound crazy!

I’m the same. My husband and I are extremely private people.  Call us Crazy but you never know who’s wishing to see you down. We don’t announce big things like pregnancy or our wedding lol. I feel like if I’m not close to you then it’s not your business. I’m not a celebrity 🤷🏽‍♀️ I don’t make money off posting my entire life story lol!!!! 
But another reason is because we miscarried in February and we just want our little family to be without everyone always calling and texting and messaging. We are kind of happy being slightly off the grid. It feels great actually.

I’m not. It’s our first and everyone who we want to know we will tell in person or over the phone. Everybody else will found as and when they see us/ in photos I may post as at some point I will be obviously pregnant. 
I just feel it’s not very me and would feel attention- seeking for me. However, that’s not judging of anyone else, I absolutely love some of the beautiful pictures people have posted for announcements!

This is our 7th... we don’t have fb but do have Instagram. I didn’t post anything with our sixth until two weeks before he was born when I dressed up on Halloween. I doubt I’ll post anything this time around either. We still haven’t even told family or our other kids!!

Same here not announcing publicly its baby #3 and our families will all know and that’s good for us. I know it hurts a lot of friends who can’t conceive or who are going through loss to see announcements. If someone takes a photo of me and posts it online then people will see and probably know but I can’t see that happening haha

We have told our immediate family and won’t be announcing until we come home with the baby because we just had our son in March and at 3 days old he passed away and now we are expecting our rainbow baby in March again so decided this would be best to not announce until we come with the baby

We are because it is our first— we have been together almost 10 years and married 3 so everyone is going to be shocked lol
