waxing??

I normally shave down there but i ALWAYS get razor bumps and in grown hairs and it is such a pain and uncomfortable and never gets smooth! it makes me too insecure to even want to have sex, so i’m thinking of going to get a brazilian was. I’m not afraid of it hurting i’m just curious on prep, how long the hair takes to grow back, and how smooth the result is! any help would be great!!
