Frustrated

We’ve been TTC for 8 months. My fiancee has recently made comments that have really hurt me and infuriated me.

He was looking for a new car and was looking at a 2 door truck. I told him i didn’t want our future kid in the front seat of a tiny truck, and that its not a practical vehicle. He shot back with “i don’t have a kid and i’m not buying a car based on the chance i may have one.” Strike one.

A couple days later, he said that he doesn’t want kids and that he’s only doing it because i want them. Strike two.

Last night he mentioned scheduling a physical, and i said he should ask for a sperm analysis, and he said “those cost $100, not doing it.” After we have talked multiple times about getting it done and he hd said he was more than willing to get it done (past medical issues lead us to think he may not have good count.) strike three.

It’s obvious he isn’t invested in this, let alone our wedding itself. Struggling with coming to the realization that this has all been a big lie on his part, and that he’s only doing it not to lose me. I’m glad i realized all this now before any of it actually happened. This along with MANY OTHER FACTORS, i’m realizing i need to leave him. How do you come to terms with the fact that the person you were building your life with is no longer going to be that person?
