Lumps on armpits?

I have two very painful lumps on my right armpit. They seem to be under the skin, they're definitely not pimples--much bigger than that. They've been there for a couple days. I've read that they could be swollen lymph nodes but I think that would mean my lymph nodes in other areas would also be swollen? I also read that it could be breast cancer which is obviously worrisome. Anyone have any idea why they could be?

No not all your lymp nodes will be swollen can just be certain ones you need to see a doctor.

Sounds like they might be boils or skin infections. I get them there they hurt bad! If you cut yourself while shaving the cuts might have gotten infected from deodorant. Try using warm compresses. Take an anti-inflammatory drug such as Motrin. If it lasts longer then a week without coming to a head or getting better or bothers more then you can handle call your doctor

I used to get those all the time because I am allergic to metal and there is aluminum in deodorant. Once I switched to a more natural deodorant like Toms, I stopped getting those.. in the mean time get a wash cloth hot and hold it on there to help with the pain. If they are super bad you can go to the doctor and if it's a boil they will lance it and drain it. But just try not to put any pressure on them and they should go away soon. And maybe look into trying a different kind of deodorant to see if that helps.

I get them every once in awhile. They are swollen lymph nodes. Soak in warm water to help them go away faster. Not all lymph nodes in your body will do that at the same time. They sometimes get infected because they help clean your body from infections in your system. Nothing to worry about they will go away. If you get them very often you should go to the dr to make sure it is nothing serious though

It could be acne inversa. I had a similar sounding issue. Just pop to the doctors. More than likely nothing serious.
