My daughter is having a first birthday party the end of september. I plan on doing a raffle but instead of asking guests to bring a book etc. to enter the raffle would it be weird to ask for them to bring a disney movie to be entered in the raffle? She loves princess movies and mickey&minnie. And how would I word that on an invitation?

Ask for gift receipts. I’m seeing you end up with 5 DVD’s of Frozen and 5 of Moana 😂. Cute idea though.

Is this instead of a present or in addition? If in addition I think it's a bit tacky...  I remember Disney movies being pretty expensive!  But maybe you can have a wish list or something for people who ask you?

ehh I wouldn't do it my child could have a few movies but she won't be sitting watching every single movie that was given for her bday raffle, you don't even know if you'll get extras. I would get her something more useful to stimulate her learning and interest
