Induced with back to back labour!

So at 40 weeks my little boy had done his growing! He was fine but my bump was measured and I was still 34/35....

Went into hospital on the Friday and they checked my cervix - the midwife said it was very high up and hard so basically no where near ready!! (Btw I never knew a women could get there hand so far up 😬)

Pessary inserted at 2pm, went for a walk and my husband left me at 9pm as we were told it could take days and he needed the rest!

An hour later my contractions started... period pains and they felt OK so I went for a walk... pain got worse ... and worse.

After a few years and a midwife timed me they gave me paracetamol, barely touched the sides so after half an hour I asked again and they gave me an injection. This also barely touched the sides and the pain was getting SO much more intense.

It got so bad I was starting to push through the pain... the midwife was telling me not too so she fetched a ball and the gas and air... I looked her straight in the eyes and BEGGED her to check me.

She checked, found his head and my waters about to burst! Rushed to delivery and 40 minutes later my little Rory was out and safe 🤗
