Health Insurance in the USA 😡
My husband and I just got married. I am looking into adding him to my benefits. $735/month with a $500 deductible and still have co-pays for visits and prescriptions (which is good if you look at other options). The one with a $5500 deductible is $550 a month so it really makes no sense to go with that plan.
To put it in perspective. My paycheck is a little over $1400. After taxes it’s less than $1100. After insurance it will be $690. Like it’s so discouraging!! I am used to living on $1100 every two weeks, not $690. We could do it, but we wouldn’t eat...
I guess we will be part of that percentage with no benefits and getting taxed because of it. 🤷🏼♀️
And I know there’s some of you paying more than what I just posted. Hats off to you guys with kiddos too! I simply cannot imagine... 😫
