Yes, my hubby will be taking off for 6 weeks! So awesome to have him home to help out for that long. With our last two girls he could only take vacation and only took off around 10 days. Our son is due mid November and my hubby is a retail manager (works crazy holiday hours) and will be off for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. He’s stoked to not have to work over the holidays this year.

Very fortunate my husband gets 4 months paid paternity leave through his company, so he will be taking that, and I will take my 12 weeks, 8 of which will be paid due to saving up all my sick/annual leave.

My husband will take off for the time I’m in the hospital and maybe another day, his leave is unpaid and he is the only one working right now. If I have a c section, plans may change slightly.

He's taking 2 weeks when she's born and the 4 weeks after I go back to work.

My husband gets 5 days paid paternity leave then is using his vacation he has been able to save up a lot and will be with me until the new year *if baby comes on time or late - if baby is early he’ll have to go in before Christmas for a few days.

So grateful that in the UK all fathers get two weeks paternity leave minimum. Then it’ll only be a month or 6 weeks until Christmas where he’ll have even more time off.
