Braxton Hicks contractions?

I jus went through about 15-20 minutes of a hard tight belly and felt a really bad stomach ache 😖.. question is .. I’ve read they should only last 1-2 minutes? I’m confused Bc I was in extreme discomfort for like 20 minutes?? It’s already happened like 2-3 times this week... are these Braxton Hicks contractions?? (I’m 29 weeks pregnant)

Omg I’ve been having this too and it lasts a long time like yours and I wasn’t thinking it was BH bc I figured those lasted a short period time like a contraction. I thought maybe I just drank too much and my belly got too full/tight. I’m just as confused as you but damn I was uncomfortable and in some pain. It was rock hard up high and the muscles felt so tight and stretched to the max

Braxton Hicks will subside if you change positions or take a warm bath. True labor will not. Also when it’s true labor you’ll know. It feels like strong period cramps

100% normal. Take a bath, pee, shower or drink tea one of those shall calm them down. I’ve been having f them for 4 weeks and I’m 28 weeks now!

I’ve been having the same thing, I told my dr and she had me go in to get monitored, I ended up being fine and no preterm labor, just Braxton Hicks  🤷🏼‍♀️ they told me to drink A LOT more water than what I thought was a lot of water.

I have been having the same thing!!! Have an appt this week so I’m going to ask then. I think it’s another normal part of pregnancy 🤷🏻‍♀️ This is why I hate when women tell me they loved being pregnant! I’m uncomfortable the majority of the time now, awake or asleep, lol.
