Painful Nipple cyst/bump

I have a tiny bump, smaller than a cyst on the tip of my nipple and it hurts like crazy when it’s touched. It’s like a chaffing, localized, sharp pain.

I went to a clinic but she only gave me a referral to a dermatologist since she said it seemed like a skin growth.

It started white and I put a bandaid over it twice, it turned red, then became darker red each time I checked it.

I don’t have my derm. appt until next week, and I’m in pretty bad pain.

Some context is that it’s really hot where I am and I’ve been wearing sweaty clothes throughout the day due to the heat.

It also came on the first day of my period, which is the first non-BC period I’ve had in over a year. I started BC again the day my period came though. ...?

Any advice or thoughts i neeed help im in pain.
