Kinda angry, kinda sad, kinda confused

So, my mother and her side of the family was totally out of the picture growing up. I didn’t know if my mother was dead or alive. I didn’t know what she looked like. I didn’t know if she had kids or married. I was totally clueless about my other family. My dad just cut everything out and didn’t talk about it after he got custody of me (around age 2 or 3).

Years later, I was contacted by my aunt. My mother’s older half sister. Didn’t really know what to think. My dad made me cut off contact. Few years pass. Then my little sister contacted me when I was 14 over Facebook. This was the first time I had ever heard about her. So, I got in contact with my mother and unblocked my aunt.

Constantly it was the blame game. My mother is bipolar and is honestly very crazy. Not only bipolar, a drug and alcohol abuser with a chemical imbalance caused by a wreck when she was young. I disregard all this and decided for myself I can base all my opinions on them without them constantly playing blame on each other for the reason they don’t communicate.

I decided I didn’t really want a relationship with my mom after she freaked out on me for something little and blocked me. She probably couldn’t help it but I didn’t need the drama. So, the closest member of my mom’s side is my aunt. My sister is young and is kinda just living her own life. Which I understand.

My aunt constantly shit mouths my mother and little sister (who is 14). I kinda just play it off because I don’t know these people. I don’t start anything with her. Then one day I commented on one of her posts that the way you dress doesn’t permit unwanted touching. Something to that extent anyway. So, she unfriended me. Why? Why does someone that constantly calls people immature and petty unfriend me over an opinion? Something that shouldn’t even be opinion. Even through 10+ years of searching for me? Cutting ties with them I guess. It’s sad family can’t be family anymore.
