So I’m getting induced later this evening and I don’t really know what to expect.

All I know is I’m barely 2cm dilated, 50% effaced and the NP said my baby is station 3....she wasn’t specific on whether it’s a negative 3 or not, though.

I’m over 40 weeks along and very nervous yet excited to meet my son soon.

I’m worried about having to be hooked to IVs (they’re inducing me with Cytotec), because I wanted an unmedicated birth/no IVs. I understand I’ll be on bed rest once the pill is inserted, but I’m hoping they’ll let me move around at some point. I already know they won’t let me eat, I’ll be on the NPO diet.

As each hour passes, I get more and more nervous about heading to L&D. 😓
