Our first fight and I hung up on him. 😡😡😡😢

Someone please tell me I'm not crazy. My SO and I just had our first real fight. And it was bad and over the phone. It lasted over an hour and it got to the point where he was being so rude and belittling that I hung up on him. He said "When every little thing doesn't go exactly the way you want it to, Emily, you act like its the worst thing in the world. And it doesn't work that way." That was among many other things he said, like "You think you know what you're talking about but you don't." And don't even get me started on his tone of voice. He was so condescending and cold that I felt like a child being scolded. No one should be talked down to like that by their significant other. Someone please say they agree with me so I can stop panicking.
