Giving medicine tips

My poor kiddo started getting some congestion on his birthday 2 weeks ago. We thought it was allergies because all ours started going haywire around the same time (summer in Oklahoma for ya). But the other night he started screaming and didn’t stop for almost 2 hours. We took him to the doctor and were told he has a double ear infection. Amoxicillin was prescribed, 2 doses a day for 10 days. Growing up I always had to take this delicious medicine for strep so I figured my kid would like it. Nope. It’s like a WWE match in my house when we try to give it to him. Any mommas have some good tips to make it go smoother??
