8 days late ! Slight cramping .

Ladies I 8 days late should I take a test ? I took some on 4,5 days late and got faint positives but it took a whole like 5 mins for them to show , took them on a 88 cent test from walamrt . Don’t want to get disappointed if I’m not ... and then I took a first rep also @5 days late and came out negative I haven’t looked at it . Can I still be pregnant? We want a little girl :(((( and I had miscarriage 5 months ago ... so yes :(
