abnormal period..possible pregnancy?

so I've been having a cold on and off for the past few weeks..then my period came a day early and ended 3 days sooner than normal. I have very regular periods (sorry tmi) so that's why it has me questioning whether or not I could still be pregnant! is it even possible after I've had my period? I've been TTC for a year and a half now and me and my partner are getting impatient... he even googled whether or not you could still be pregnant if you get your period... there were a few success stories but how often does that actually happen....im trying to stay positive but were losing hope..
