Does your "ovulation period" really matter?

So ive been tracking, and not that we are trying. But the other day we said "eh who cares we are married now" it was the day after my last "fertile day" in my ovulation period. I don't get my period until the 11th. Is there a chance i could have gotten pregnant? Not that im expecting to be or trying to be but if it happens it happens 😁 But hey if the ovulation period is the key then we can save so much money buy ditching condoms and just avoid ovulation periods lol haha
