Is the dockatot worth it!?

I am contemplating buying it my son is 3 weeks old and i feel his basinette is not the best option for sleeping he wakes up as soon as i put him down...

Not at all worth it for something that is a glorified pillow. It's not safe for unsupervised sleep and should not be placed in a bassinet or crib.

Ima be honest. I think it’s an over priced glorified dog bed. That being said my son REFUSES to sleep on ANY flat surface or be swaddled in any way shape or form. We current,y have him sleeping in his mamaroo, his pediatricians okay this till 3 months. We wanted to start transitioning him to his crib since he’s two months now. A few weeks ago I hadn’t gotten more than 2-3 hours of sleep A DAY since he’s been born. I was exhausted, sleep deprived and desperate. So I bought the damn pillow, and the day it arrived he started sleeping 7 hour stretches at night. So for us it really helped me. That being said I’m HIGH key pissed af that I paid as much as I did for it 😒 if I were you I would wait till you absolutely NEED it instead of wasting money if you don’t use

Hands down worth it. My son used it in his crib from couple weeks old to 3 months & we still use it. Getting the grand in a few weeks

I think it's worth it! Our daughter loves it. We had the Dockatot Deluxe when she was younger and she LOVED it! We end up purchasing the Dockatot Grand and we love it. To me, it's worth it. However, we get a lot of use out of it. If you do not think you're going to use it a lot then it may not be worth it to you. Also, we have the SnuggleMe Organic as well. We no longer use it, but we loved it when we did. It was better when she was really young.

We don’t use ours for unsupervised sleep and I still think 100% worth it. I’ve used it for daytime naps for both my kids now as well as just for lounging while I shower or clean or cook etc. They have both loved it! I’ve gotten SO much use out of it.

We bed share.. so when my son was first born I liked to put it between my husband and I at night and around 3 months we stopped using it. I could’ve lived without it. And it is perfectly safe to use.... just trust your mama instinct.
