Bf is joining the national guard soon

So I’m 18, bf is 20, he’s had a dream of joining the guard since high school. It suits him well, but he’s moving to a different state to join soon and he hasn’t asked if I want to move with so I’m sure that’s not even an option. (I’m not gonna bring myself into his situation just because I don’t want to invade his dreams). Idk how I’m feeling about it, we haven’t been dating long so we’re probably just gonna break up since he’s moving out of state.

I’m so frustrated because he brought it up as an idea and then didn’t say anything about it again until tonight he said he’s probably going to be moving at the end of the month. Idk what to do besides be supporting in his decision. But ughh!
