How long do you really use a diaper bag?

I have a 2 year toddler and a 6MO baby I use a tote bag I hate it cause the bottles are always spilling and it smells afterwards when it drips inside. I have been looking for diaper bags but idk for long I will use it for? Will it be worth buying? I low key want a small one idk I feel some are super huge. But idk if I should get one or not? Plse help

I still bring my daugthers diaper bag at many occations. She is just over 2 years old. I would not buy one for my 2-year old If i didnt have one already, but i would definatly buy one for a 6 Months old baby. Is Nice to have for extra clothes, a tovel, diapers, wet vipes, bottles and so on. There is also a lot of good looking diaper bags. I got this one:

Honestly, I never once used a diaper bag. I just shoved a few extra dialers into whatever bag I had. But with twoifyo still need diapers for both and bottles/ snacks it might be more useful

I got mine for $20 off fb marketplace. New with tags. Baby isn't born yet, but it has a lot of pockets and to me, a backpack style is way easier.

Usually until both kids are potty trained. My SIL still uses hers when they go to bush gardens for things like snacks, sunscreen etc and her youngest is 4. I have a HapTim brand one from amazon it’s fairly small, but has plenty of bottle holders.

I used a diaper bag for maybe the first 9 months and then I switched to a book bag. It was way easier and could fit a lot more stuff in it that I needed. And now I just use a small drag string bag because my son doesn’t really ever need much when we go places.

I don't use a diaper bag, I just have an organizer in my larger purse that I can pull out and toss in the laundry if it leaks

I used a diaper bag for all of two weeks 😂 I hate diaper bags and find them to be pointless (babies and kids don't need a whole bag's worth of stuff and I didn't need to be carrying around multiple bags haha). So I just use my regular purse and toss in what our daughter needs for that particular outing. I'll be doing the same when baby #2 arrives as well. I also have a Totesavvy insert that I'll use sometimes to keep it more organized.

I love my diaper bags. Even when they are not babies anymore it's nice for potty training, sippy cups and a snack etc. I get one that I can put my purse stuff into as well as diaper bag stuff. I'm also not big on carrying lots in my purse so it works for me.
