Diarrhea prior to labor?

I’ve had a terrible upset stomach with multiple episodes of diarrhea the last couple of hours along with cramping & everything. I went for a short walk & it just made it worse. I dunno if it’s just a GI bug or labor starting or? Anyone had this prior to labor or early labor? I’m 38 weeks..

I’ve had horrific diarrhea the last 2 weeks, I’m talking full on amazon river out my butt type stuff. I’m 37+4 today and still nothing (I was really hoping for a Labor Day baby 🙄), I have a doctors appointment in 2 days so we’ll see if anything has happened. I have heard that a lot of women have diarrhea before labor.

Could be the beginning stages of labor. That what happened with me with last 2 pregnancies, baby came 2-3 days later
