Pain tolerance

They say you'll know you are in true labor when you feel painful contractions that increase and are closer together, what if you have a high tolerance of  pain.
My friend gave birth yesterday and the only reason why she did was because she had a doctors appointment and the doctor told her. A few hours later her water broke and BOOM her son was born. She had a fast delivery. Lol I was in shock. Doctor told her she was made to have babies. ( Lol who says that. Lol)
So that leaves me to my question, how do you really know??? , now I know my pregnancy won't be the same as hers, but how do you truly know. If everyone pregnancy is different can a women be so sure. 😁😁
I'm 9 days away from my due date and my doctor told me she will definitely be here before my due date. So now I'm in edge. Lol counting and writing every little pain I feel.
I've been at L&D so much all the nurses know me lol.
It's so crazy. Lol the last stages of pregnancy I wish it was like the movies just a gush of water and you know. No things of false labor, no mucus plugs, just a gush  of water and BAM your in labor. 😃
