Is rice vegan?

Question

I'm concerned if rice is vegan or not if not please let me know because I don't want to eat any grave or anything made with grave I know they say it's made with wheat but I'm not sure they're telling the truth but if it is vegan please let me know that too I'm really concerned.

What? Plain rice is vegan. What is grave?? Rice isn't made with wheat and wheat is vegan also. I'm so confused

Rice is a grain, it grows at the tops of the rice stalk, and it will eventually become the seed of the next generation of the rice plant. There are so many types of rice including red rice, black rice, brown rice, and tons of different varieties of white rice. If it is unbleached and unprocessed, it is simply a grain. All grains are vegan. 
Rice does not contain wheat, but is a grain comparable to the wheat grain, although there are differences in the nutritients in each of them (and also in the types of rice themselves). My favorite rice is black japonica rice, also called forbidden rice. If you boil it with water and a little coconut oil it comes out so sweet!

Grains themselves are vegan. It is only animals and their byproducts, such as eggs and honey that aren't. 
Rice, Quinoa, wheat, etc. Are all vegan. Even Gravy (which I think you are asking about?) can be vegan! You will probably have to make it at home, or buy the Pacific brand in store.
If you are avoiding gluten, then wheat, barley, rye, and uncertified oats are off the list of options. Rice, millet, amaranth, tapioca, sorghum, quinoa, etc are safe to eat.
No matter what diet you adhere to, you shouldn't make rice a major part of your diet due to the high inorganic arsenic content. I have Celiac and follow a vegan diet so I am careful to watch what I eat to ensure that I am not eating too much rice. In moderation it is fine, but not every day of the week.
