When to schedule doctors appointment?

Soo by the grace of God I see progression ... when do I schedule doctors appointment? When I do schedule it does it have to be with the person I think will deliver the baby?!? Or ... today I’m 11DPO

If you have a doctor already you can schedule with that one but sometimes when you call the office, they will ask if there’s a doctor you want to see. If you’re not sure, they can schedule you with one that is available around the time they want to wait to see you. Usually about 10 weeks when you’re near your safe zone. When I was pregnant, I didn’t see one specific doctor because they were all so busy and booked the days I was available. The last couple of appointments, I was able to see one doctor and she was the one who delivered.

Call and schedule now. They usually want to see you around 8 weeks. Even if you schedule with the doctor you want to deliver your baby, doesn't mean they will be the one. I went into labor on the weekend and on call doctor delivered.

I believe the standard is 8 to 12 weeks? If I remember right I think I saw my OBGYN at 14 weeks because I was having issues with my insurance.
