Broody hen

So my husband and I have five hens, and I adore the heck out of them. One of them has been going through a broody cycle, and I feel terrible for her! We keep having to remove her from the laying boxes bc she is just certain she’ll get an egg to hatch. My husband and I know we essentially have no chance of conceiving now... but I am experiencing the most freaking obvious ovulation this cycle! And I’m like girl, I feel you... I want this egg to fertilize and make me a chick! 😛🐣

So anywho, I’ve decided my spirit animal is a broody hen! Bahahaha.
