Should I go or not ?

So tonight a function is going on & my friends persuaded me to go cz I'm hurting rn and I need to have fun and not cry anymore cz my ex broke up with me like three days ago. We pay 5 and dudes play 15 with alcohol shit like basically a party but I won't drink I'm not trying to get into trouble 😂 Buttt I found out that my ex is gonna go too. Now I'm overthinking it. Like I wanna go to dance and have fun and not stay home and be sad thinking about him but what if I see him doing something that is gonna hurt me or basically bump into each other. Idk what to do anymore any help ?
