Mirena

Mirena question here. I got my IUD placed in January. Pretty awful experience. I hurt for like the next month and after that it was on and off. However, after all that, I haven’t had a period since June. And really haven’t hurt much since then.

Well Thursday i had a lot of discomfort in my left side almost to the point where I couldn’t really do much. I sat in bed that evening with a heat pack. Well today (Saturday) it has sort of come back. Just sharp pain in the left side. I guess I’ve had a few instances like that, I remember once in July too, I had a hard time sleeping with the pain I was experiencing. So I guess those moments are all normal effects of mirena? Just wanted to be sure it’s not something else. Any one else have similar experiences?

And yes, I know I know I should call my doctor. I really need to go have a check up anyway.
