Children protestors

Being someone who has a sibling that is transgender this hits me right in the heart. Someone shared this on Facebook and I commented about how ironic it was to ask a child to hold a sign like this with a comment like “let me enjoy being a child”.

Do you think it’s ok to expose your child to public events like this and ask them to hold signs with your views about issues like this? I was appalled at the number of people who actually shared this post.
