Do you and your SO argue/fight in front of your baby sometimes?

I know it's not ideal but sometimes my SO and I argue in front of our baby. Just curious if this is pretty common or if other parents mostly stay composed around baby. Any suggestions on how to argue less in front of our little ones? I feel like it's easier said than done unfortunately.

I think it’s healthy for kids to see a disagreement if it’s done the right way. They realize ok grownups don’t agree on everything but they talk it out respectfully and find a solution. But not screaming or arguing about something that has to do with them.

Just arguments? Yeah we do that in front of him. Full-blown crazy fights with screaming and cursing? No we don’t. Little arguments are a normal part of a healthy relationship and I think observing how they’re dealt with and resolved is important for kids to see.

We do but once we realize it we stop. She’s 16 months but she starts to fuss if we argue. Not that we have big fights, just disagreements but the tone of our voices change

Never ever 🙅🏻 I grew up watching my parents fight and argue and there's no way in hell I'm giving our daughter that same childhood. But for one, we don't argue often. We actually like each other and get along lol and two, we don't argue in front of people, period. Not just our daughter. We check our attitudes and issues at the door and never drag others into it.

We argue but it’s not loud with cursing or anything. It’s expressing our feelings about a particular topic. 
I think it’s healthy for our daughter to see this. I would be a hypocrite to keep things bottled up until we are far from her and then let it out. I want her to be able to see how adults handle a disagreement. 
Our fights never get physical and the only curse word we use is “shit” but even that is barely used. 
Of course, I don’t claim that our way is the best way but it’s definitely the way we think is best to raising our princess.

We don’t argue. We may disagree on something, but we always work it out without an argument.

We try not too.  These past few months have been rough and we couldn’t control the fight.  We’re now working on it as much as we can.

For me it's happened. Not like arguing bad but we've raised out voices or been annoyed but quickly try to return to calm voices even if still discussing the situation. We may be disagreeing still but in calm voices so we don't scare her.
