Pms making me dry?

Just had a question. My pms has been awful this cycle and my boyfriend was at drill then when he came home yesterday we both wanted to have sex. So we did, it was great at first then all of a sudden I went completely dry. So dry that we had to stop and just say try again tomorrow. Is it due to my pms possibly or was it just an off day for me? I have had this happen a few times before but just attributed it to stress that was going on and my brain not being in the right place. But I was completely into it last night and all of a sudden my body said hell no. Any advice would be great. And before someone says use lube we did, it didn’t help what so ever because I was dry as a bone.
