Late talker?

Hi everyone ! My son is 2 years old. He hasn’t started daycare yet which I’m sure is a big reason he’s not talking much. But it worries me, he won’t repeat after me, say anything with a B in it, i try to go over the same sound and or word and honestly, it’s almost like he has no interest. Sometimes he randomly says words we had no clue he knew!! But for the most part everything is grunting. And someone mentioned autism. Not sure if he sounds more like a late talker or possibly have autism ? Should i consider speech therapy or wait and see how his vocabulary goes once he’s in daycare?
