Should I go to ER?!

I went to urgent care this morning to get a growth looked at. They tested my blood-white blood cells are high and they took a sample from the growth because it has the potential to be MRSA (staph) I got put on an antibiotic but with the way I’ve been feeling since last night I’m pretty scared it’s bad.
Chest pain (lungs), body aches, chills (even in 90 degree heat) nausea. My body is cold. Will the ER do something different than what was done at urgent care?

ER won’t do anything different. If you are still concerned, you should call your primary care doctor

So is it positive for mrsa?

Probably should go to the doctor. I’m not one hundred percent. But they probably shouldn’t have cut it open if they thought it was MRSA. Will spread faster that way. Learned that from working in the nursing home and dealing with it. I would go see my doctor and they can get you the right direction to get it dealt with.

You gotta give the antibiotics a couple to days to work. Take some Tylenol or something for the chills/fever/pain. If the area looks worse (more swollen, redder, lots of pus, more painful etc...) over the next couple of days go see your regular doctor sooner.
