Baby shower for my friend

Sooo guys I’m throwing my friend a babyshower because her mom and her bf’s aunt bailed out on her.(not surprising they’re both assholes) ((A little background info. Her boyfriend, and my boyfriend are brothers, so in turn she’s more like a sister to me, and I love her.) anyways, the way it all started was her boyfriend called my mom and asked my mom if she would throw the shower for her and my mom agreed because she said they deserve it and he was so sweet when he asked. Anyways, we have to rush to throw this shower together due to it being so last minute (she’s due oct. 8), and I was working 60 hours a week when he asked and my mom works almost 50 hours a week too so we had minimal time to figure it out but we finally did. Also it made it hard due to her boyfriend working a bunch too so we were given a 8 day timeframe as to when we could have this shower where they could be there. It was suppose to be a surprise shower for her so I texted her boyfriend and told him the time and date and place. & he instantly calls me and asks how much the place was, and I said “we paid $80” and he said “oh you already paid? My boss could’ve gotten us a nicer venue for free.” And when I asked what foods they would want there I was asking like cheese burgers, hot dogs, stuff like that, that’s simple and not too expensive. & he said he wanted steak there. Ooh kay. And lastly when he saw the invitations (store bought) he made a comment about “oh they aren’t customize and printed?” Mind you, he told my friend all about the shower, so she knows about it and she cannot stop thanking me and my mom for everything. She’s so grateful and so sweet about it all. But I’m just at the point of wanting to tell her boyfriend to throw the shower him damn self since nothing is good enough for him. I don’t have the money to throw a huge babyshower for her but at least I’m trying. He’s just driving me nuts and I can’t wait for it to be over. I feel bad bc she deserves it but if it were just for him, i 100% wouldn’t do it. Sorry for my rant I needed to get it out
