Sound the lights on baby monitor going crazy?

I noticed very early this morning that the sound lights on my baby monitor were flashing and going up and down like crazy. I went into the bedroom and both kids were quiet and sleeping, I also have the volume turned up and didn’t hear anything.  Went back to my room and the lights were still doing it. Has anyone else ever experienced anything like that?

Turn off the monitor and cameras and turn them back on again. Sometimes these things get all glitchy and need a reboot. Sometimes it’s simply interference from other electronics.

I've heard they can get glitchy if you set your phone too close or something!

Do you have a white noise machine on?

Answer

Yes. Mine was picking up noises from outside. Like the neighbors dog barking.
