What age did you start potty training your child?

Any potty training tips?

Started introducing potty training around 2yr old and started on it not much longer after. She was completely potty trained by the time she was 3yrs old, overnights day time long drives etc.

We are going to start potty training when my daughter is about 2.5 years old.  We have a potty in the bathroom and she pretends to use it.  Doc said to just get her comfortable with it and slowly introduce.

We put the potty chair out at about 18 months and started reading books and talking about potty stuff. It was a little after her fourth birthday when we finally got rid of diapers at night, which is what I would call fully potty trained. My niece was out of night diapers just after her second birthday. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

As soon as my girl could walk I was showed her the new mini potty we got her. She would use it as a chair at first. I stopped using diapers/pullups at home asap and would give her a treat when she went in the potty. She didn't like candy, but loved mini marshmallows. Then when she started to actually understand what the potty was meant for...about six months later, we bought a toliet seat insert thingy for our main toilet. Got her a step stool and now she's all good. Except when she wears underwear. She goes in those for some reason.
