Pink Haired Girl

Ok so, on the first day of school, as I'm running to first period, this girl catches my attention. She seemed really cute with her pink hair (in the front) and purple glasses, so I hoped that she was in at least one of my classes. The only period we had together, as it turns a out, was science. After just about two weeks, I still know very little about her, only that she has an older sister, used to have a cat, that she chokes up and kind of does squats when she's nervous, and that she isn't very self confident. We didn't really know each other previously so we're not really friends. How can I get closer to her?
