Epidural

With my first born I had an epidural. It hurt SO bad and it took forever for me to actually get numb from the shot. So I pretty much felt the whole epidural. I KNOW I want one again for sure this time because it was such smooth sailing after it and I was able to relax. But I’m so nervous for the pain!! Anyone else in this boat? Or did anyone have a bad first experience and a good second experience?
