Had anyone tried Montessori type activities at home in early childhood? If so, how did it work out for them? And you? Do you have any advice or blogs you recommend?

My twins will be 2 in less than 3 months and they love being hands on. I love that they want to help with the dish washer, sweeping, putting dishes away and such. The LOVE puzzles, looking at books and I really think a Montessori type learning environment would benefit them at this age.

I just started looking into Montessori type play/activities/learning and such. I'm not 100% on the topic so if I'm come off a bit ignorant on the subject it's 'cause I am.
